I was a frequent visitor to Vashon from the early 80's until I moved here in 2001, usually coming to play Bluegrass music with John Schubert at the Strawberry Festival or the Blue Heron. At one such gig (at the old Stray Dog) I met the lovely Polly Carson and was smitten. I eventually talked her into getting married, and now we have two fine sons-Thaylo and Numi, and live on the south end of Vashon above Spring Beach.
